the past few years but now have
pulled back a bit, so GREAT time
to consider a purchase. WORD IS OUT
AND
PUNA HAS BEEN DISCOVERED..... BUT
STILL THE BEST VALUES IN THE STATE
FOR PROPERTY, IN MY OPINION!!! The
Puna area is one of the fastest
growing areas in the State. Proximity
to Hilo (the main business center
and largest city on the Island) is
a plus, yet within minutes of town
you are out in old hawaii, with
plenty of open space and quiet. Best
prices in the State for decent farmland
and 1-3 acre lots starting at
only $40-50,000 40-50 acres of farmland/pasture
starting at only
$300,000 up. CABINS start at approx
$80,000 on city size lots and small
acreages and homes at $270,000 up
on
1-3 acre properties. There are
approx 24 major subdivisions in the
Puna area most of which were
developed 50-55 years ago. Starting
from ocean level up to 3000 ft
elevation, each has something different
to offer. Some offer all
utilities and paved roads, whereas
others are secluded, with gravel
roads. Most have catchment water,
i.e.
you have a holding tank and pump
system, thus sufficient rainfall
to
supply your water needs.

1) MAUNA LOA ESTATES - 20,000 sf lots,
most with electric and some paved
roads. Approx 3000 ft elevation. Lush
Ohia Forest. $65-90,000
2 -3) OHIA ESTATES, ROYAL
HWN EST - 9-20,000 sf lots, all paved roads,
most with electric, most lush forest.
$35-60,000
4) HAWAII ORCHID ISLAND EST - 3 acre
square lots, some elec, main roads
paved. Ohias and Hapuu (tree ferns)
$95-115000.
5) FERN FOREST VAC. EST - 3 acre lots,
huge subdivision, all gravel
roads, some square shaped lots, most
have electric - from lush forest,
to open areas with mountain views,
2000-2500ft elevation. Prices
starting at $40,000 up.
6) EDEN ROCK EST - 1 acre lots, some

gravel roads. Most have electric. Approx
1200 ft elevation . $55-80,000.
8) HAWN ACRES - 3 acre lots, main
roads paved, side roads substandard
900-1200 ft elevation. Many have electric.
From lush forest, to open
areas with views $45-65,000. On paved
roads $80-100,000.
9) ORCHID LAND EST - 1, 2 & 3
acre lots. Gravel roads Most have
electric. approx 500-800ft elevation.

10) AINALOA - 12,000sf lots, main
roads paved, most with electric. In
back of sub. $27,000 up, nearer front

12) HAWAIIAN PARADISE PARK - 1 acre
lots in most of the subdivision and
1/2 acre parcels near the ocean. Good

roads paved, and side roads well maintained.
